It’s been one “Unforgettable Moment in Time” after another! – “On Location” in Southern California at North Island Naval Air Station shooting the “Parade of Flight” for the 100th Anniversary of Naval Aviation Kick-off Event and the next day back in my Portrait Studio “playing” with little kids and my new bubble machine.
This week I fulfilled a long-time dream of getting out “on” the Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet (Mothball Fleet) and just a few weeks ago was at Mare Island when a new chapter in maritime history opened as they pulled the Solon Turman into the shipyard dry dock.
I’ve been back up in the air capturing more fun air to ground photos and out on tugboats shooting ships and more. An AWSOME day on one of the tugboats pulling the USS Dawn out of the Mothball Fleet and towing her to Pier 70 in San Francisco!
And another great day on the USS Hornet shooting photos for the Museum and the Tailhook Association. Lunching with a Rear Admiral that day was a very special treat!
Relationships are EVERYTHING and the most amazing people keep walking/flying/dancing into my life and they keep bring INCREDIBLE photo opportunities with them! I LOVE what I do and never know what to expect next! How can life get any better?!!!
To Chasing Light with Passion! Susan
